ABOUT TANIA

I commenced my celebrant journey in 2017, and have officiated a diverse range of ceremonies in many locations including, Canberra, The Snowy Mountains, The Southern Highlands, the Hunter Valley, and the South Coast. I have been happily married to my husband Kevin for over 35 years. We have four adult children and as the years have progressed, we have welcomed our children's spouses and seven grandchildren. 

 

For 25 years I have worked in a variety of educational settings with both adolescents and adults, supporting students with additional needs. In 2023 I undertook and completed my yoga teacher training and women's circle facilitator training; this has given me skills that have enhanced my personal growth and development. This training has also allowed me to deliver classes and workshops to brides, their bridal party, and additional family and friends. The workshops are a fun way to bond and connect.

 

My passions in life are: family, friends, food, yoga, making candles, and of course being able to pronounce a couple as a married couple. 

 

I feel very privileged to be a celebrant as this is by far the most beautiful job I have had. One of the loveliest things about this job is I get to meet couples who are totally in love and have made the decision to embark on a new chapter in their lives. I look forward to meeting couples who are ready to take on the journey of marriage.
